HELLO WORLD!

As you might have read in our previous blogpost, we have been working on a number of updates for ORINOCO BLUE this week.

Today is a HUGE day for us as we have two updates for you in store!

We don’t want to push your patience too much so we’ll start with the biggest news first: today is the day we are relaunching our website under its brand new name!

Although deep inside we are still big fans of ORINOCO BLUE, we’ve noticed it wasn’t the easiest name to remember and often got misspelled. Also, since Vic has become a full time blog member as of this week we found it to be the perfect timing for a name change.

During the past few weeks we have been brainstorming, combining words and trying to come up with an exciting and fun name that represents what we and our blog are all about!

“So… without further ado we proudly present you our shiny new blog name: CAPE COCONUT!”

We chose this name because it reminds us of wild adventures and exotic destinations and hope you feel the same way!

We believe CAPE COCONUT has what it takes to become a strong brand, easy to remember, hard to misspell and still original enough to stand out in the massive blogosphere crowd.

The second news item we want to share with you is that we’ve recently exchanged some of our hard earned Aussie dollars into a awesome campervan!

Over the past few years we have had many travel adventures together but we’re convinced one of our biggest adventure still lies ahead of us! We plan to drive our pimped home on wheels around Australia in the months to come. You’ll be able to follow us and our whereabouts on the CAPE COCONUT website and social media!

CAPE COCONUT

We’ve had this baby for some time now and took it for a spin to Port Stephens last weekend. We’ll be reporting on that soon so stay tuned!

That’s it for now folks! As you can image these are really exciting times for us and we are doing everything we can to make the transition as smoothly as possible! So if you still see a few bugs on the site in the next couple of days – please ignore ;-)

Last but not least we do want to thank everyone that has supported and followed us during the ORINOCO BLUE era (you are AWESOME!) and we hope we can keep on counting on your support during the next chapter of our blog!

Feel free to spread the word and share your comments about CAPE COCONUT below!

Thanks mates!
